The Fauna of Mirrors is a third work in a series of public space installations. Like Workers That Live In The Mirror and Workers That Live In The Mirrors, it is based on a short story by the Argentinian writer Jorge Luis Borges which itself references an ancient Chinese myth of the same name. Using footage from YouTube and the recorded voices of Mandarin, Arabic, Hindi, and Spanish speakers, The Fauna of Mirrors presents an allegory about production and consumption in an uneven, globalized world.
