Happiness by Design conspires with humans to create connections between technology, happiness, and design.

A skeletal and gesture tracking system allows people to connect their presence to a dynamic LED array. The system searches for other users and signals connections between users on different floors. Raising and waving hands increases the speed and energy of connections.

Happiness by Design aims to exploit machine learning and design to amplify emotional responses and foster social connections.
